Supplier

Goods, memberships, admissions and bookings offered through this website are supplied by The Stronghold Gaming Club Incorporated, ABN 72 144 869 636, ACT Incorporation No. A06651. Starsz Stronghold is the association’s public-facing community name.

Prices and GST

Prices are in Australian dollars and are the complete amount payable unless an optional extra is selected. The association is not currently registered for GST, so receipts are issued as payment receipts rather than tax invoices.

Orders and Payments

  • An order or booking is accepted when the website confirms it and any required payment is received or approved.
  • Square payments are processed through Square’s hosted checkout. Bank transfer and PayID payments require the supplied reference and remain pending until confirmed.
  • Stock is not guaranteed until an order is accepted. The Club may refund or offer an alternative if stock is unavailable.
  • Digital products are supplied through the account or delivery instructions. Do not redistribute Club digital products unless expressly permitted.
  • Physical items are collected at the selected Monthly Meetup or Event unless another arrangement is approved.

Memberships

Membership is available from age 16 and is governed by the Constitution, Code of Conduct and published tier terms. Paid-tier upgrades may credit the eligible amount already paid for the current membership period. Membership access and Discord roles may require manual verification.

Event and Game Bookings

  • Capacity, session times, age guidance and accessibility information are shown where available.
  • Bookings must use accurate contact details and may not be resold.
  • Participants must follow the Code of Conduct, venue rules, safety directions and Game Master instructions.
  • The Club may change a room, table, Game Master, schedule or comparable operational detail. Major changes and cancellations are handled under the Refunds & Returns policy and Australian Consumer Law.
  • Photography or recording occurs only where announced or consented to. A person may raise a privacy or safety concern with a Steward.

Account Credits and Discounts

Account credits are non-transferable and applied under the conditions shown when issued. Discounts are applied according to the current membership, Star Tier and Sponsor rules. A credit or discount does not create a cash entitlement unless required by law or expressly approved.

Monthly Meetup Game Master Credits

  • The website records Game Master credits from finalised Monthly Meetup attendance at the rate of 1 credit for each $1 allocated to the Game Master.
  • Every 20 available credits may be exchanged for one physical $20 Eastlake Gift Voucher.
  • Voucher requests require Admin approval and are allocated for pickup at the next published Monthly Meetup.
  • Credits are reserved when a request is submitted and redeemed when the physical voucher is collected. Rejected requests return the reserved credits to the available balance.
  • The Club may correct calculation errors, duplicate attendance or fulfilment records before approving a request.

Community Marketplace

  • Submitting or responding to Marketplace listings is limited to members aged 18 or older.
  • The Marketplace is a moderated classifieds noticeboard. The Stronghold does not sell listed items, hold funds, provide escrow, arrange delivery or act as the buyer’s or seller’s agent.
  • The transaction is directly between the buyer and seller. Business sellers must identify themselves and provide their business name and ABN. Private sellers must not present themselves as businesses.
  • Sellers must own or have authority to sell the item, describe it accurately, disclose known faults, check relevant product recalls and comply with applicable consumer, product-safety and advertising laws. Legal rights that apply to a business sale cannot be excluded by these terms.
  • Private one-off sales may have different consumer-guarantee coverage, but title, undisturbed possession and freedom from hidden debts still apply.
  • Prohibited listings include illegal, stolen, counterfeit, recalled or unsafe goods; weapons and explosives; alcohol, nicotine and recreational drugs; prescription medicines; adult content; and other restricted or inappropriate goods.
  • Do not publish a private home address. Arrange handover at a public venue, a Stronghold activity or by delivery. Buyers should inspect items, preserve messages and use a payment method appropriate to the risk.
  • Every listing requires Steward approval, runs for 30 days, receives a renewal reminder at expiry and is archived after 45 days without renewal or update. The Club may reject, remove or preserve a listing where needed for safety, compliance, evidence or dispute handling.
  • Report suspicious, misleading, unsafe or prohibited content through Complaints and Disputes. The Club may provide records to regulators or law enforcement where required or reasonably necessary.

Nothing in this section excludes any non-excludable obligation of The Stronghold Gaming Club Incorporated for operating the website or handling personal information.

Australian Business Advertisers

The Marketplace supports relevant Australian stores and service providers as well as private member listings. A business advertiser must provide a valid ABN and the business or entity name shown on the Australian Business Register. A Steward must confirm through official ABN Lookup that the ABN is active and the name matches before approval. The Club may request further proof that the applicant is authorised to advertise for the business.

ABN checking confirms limited public registration details only. Approval, publication or an ABN-checked label is not accreditation, sponsorship, a guarantee, or endorsement by the Stronghold. Advertisers must not make false, misleading or deceptive claims, conceal commercial status, use fake reviews, omit material fees or conditions, or imply Stronghold endorsement.

Consumer Guarantees, Cancellations and Refunds

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The detailed policy is available on the Refunds & Returns page.
