Public Identity
Starsz Stronghold is the association’s public-facing community name. The legal entity remains The Stronghold Gaming Club Incorporated, an ACT incorporated not-for-profit association.
Business-name registration is not presented as an automatic incorporated-association requirement. It is relevant only if the association is legally carrying on a business under that separate name. The Committee may obtain professional advice if the Club’s trading activities materially change.
The Club does not claim ACNC charity registration or deductible-gift-recipient status.
These objectives are reproduced from the Constitution supplied to the website in July 2026.
The Constitution provides for four membership tiers, a Committee comprising a President, Secretary, Treasurer and up to six additional members, two-year Committee terms, one vote per member, proxy voting, an AGM at least once each calendar year, internal mediation of disputes and transfer of remaining assets to a similar not-for-profit if the association winds up.
Where the association’s own rules do not address a matter, the ACT model rules may apply. The registered copy held by Access Canberra is the authoritative legal record.
The Committee is responsible for management and administration. The website also uses operational Steward titles for community responsibilities. Those public titles do not replace the formal Committee particulars recorded with Access Canberra.
The association completes an annual statement and retains statements of account, reviewer or auditor reports, compliance statements and prescribed records for at least seven financial years. Public annual summaries appear on the Annual Reports page after approval.
Page reviewed 28 July 2026. This public summary does not replace the registered rules or independent legal advice.
