Our standard
All Stronghold members, guests, volunteers, Game Masters, Stewards and event participants are expected to help maintain a safe, inclusive and respectful community.
Expected conduct
- Communicate and behave respectfully at all times.
- Welcome people across identities, backgrounds, experience levels and gaming interests.
- Respect personal boundaries, safety tools, consent decisions and requests to stop or change content.
- Follow venue rules, event instructions and reasonable directions from Stronghold organisers.
- Keep disagreement focused on ideas and game decisions rather than personal attacks.
- Protect private information and do not impersonate another member or claim another person’s Discord identity.
Unacceptable conduct
The Stronghold has zero tolerance for discrimination, bullying, harassment, intimidation, threats, unwanted sexual conduct, deliberate exclusion, retaliation against a person who raises a concern, or behaviour that creates an unsafe environment.
Games, safety and consent
Game Masters should explain relevant themes, respect agreed boundaries and use appropriate safety practices. Any participant may pause, step away from or leave a game. A person does not need to publicly justify a safety or consent decision.
Reporting concerns
Concerns may be raised privately with Starsz, the Compliance & Safety Officer, or another current Steward. Reports will be handled as discreetly as reasonably possible, while allowing the Stronghold to assess risk and take appropriate action.
Consequences
Breaches may result in guidance, a warning, removal from a game or event, suspension, Discord-role removal, membership suspension or termination, or referral to venue management or relevant authorities where necessary.
Agreement
By applying for or maintaining a Stronghold account, members agree to follow this Code of Conduct and support the objectives of The Stronghold Gaming Club Incorporated.
